How to Measure Ring Size

The best way to get an accurate measurement of your ring finger size is to visit your nearest Helzberg Diamonds Store, where our trained associates will help you determine the correct size for diamond engagement rings, wedding rings or bands. If you can't make it in to see us, you can use our easy printable ring size guide or request a mailed ring sizer for free.

HOW TO MEASURE FINGER SIZE USING OUR RING SIZING GUIDE

1.Download our printable ring size chart here.

2.Make sure that the scale is set to 100% in your print dialog box.

3.Verify the measurement bar on the ring sizing chart measures 2.5" when printed.

4.Measure your finger itself with our printable paper sizer.

5.Print, cut out and wrap around the largest part of the finger between knuckles.

6.The point where the ends overlap will mark your ring size.

Tips When Sizing:

Cold weather can shrink your fingers up to half a size, so make sure they’re warm.
Measure fingers at the end of the day when they're largest.
Measure your ring finger size 3 to 4 times for the most accurate reading.
If the measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger size.

HOW TO FIND RING SIZE FOR SOMEONE ELSE - HOW TO MEASURE USING A RING

1.Use an existing ring that fits correctly on the finger that you want to measure.

2.Use the printable ring size chart and match the inside edge of the ring to the correct diameter shown.

3.You can also separately measure the inside edge of the ring, in millimeters (mm) and use that size to determine the correct ring size based on our ring size chart.

OTHER RING SIZING TIPS

Be sure to account for the width of bands or “stackable rings”
Engagement & Wedding Bands are worn on the left-hand ring finger.
Fashion Rings can be worn on any finger on either hand.
Engagement & Wedding or Fashion rings should fit comfortably and be snug enough to stay on but loose enough to fit over your knuckle.

Print the sizer at 100% to ensure an accurate fit
To find your size with an existing ring, measure along the inside edge of the ring

Measure fingers at the end of the day to account for swelling
If your ring size fits between two sizes, select the larger size
Measure three to four times before ordering to verify the accuracy of your measurements
