March Birthstone - Aquamarine Jewelry

The March birthstone is aquamarine. This stone is said to promote safety and security, especially for journeys at sea - inspired, most likely, by the calm cool blue color. During medieval times, aquamarine was also thought to work as an antidote to poisons and was even used for fortune telling.
