TANTALUM
Tantalum is a rare, blue-gray colored dense earth metal. One of the five major refractory metals in the world, Tantalum is extremely heat and wear resistant, and has the third highest melting point of all the elements. Tantalum's rarity is due to a difficult attaining process, and based on the current rate of extraction, it is estimated there are less than 50 years of Tantalum resources left.
